世界130国に300万人の人々が受験するケンブリッジ英検は、世界中の企業でも英語力を判断する基準としても利用されています。この英検では5つのレベルに分かれており、PHILLIP JAMESでは、中級レベルのFCE (First Certificate in English)と上級レベルのCAE(Certificate in Advanced English)の対策コースを開講しています。
FCE / CAE ではライティング、リーディング、スピーキングにおてい高いレベルの英語力が求められます。　英語力のさらなる上達を目指す方や、通用する英語力を身につけたい方など幅広い方に役立つ試験です。

コースコンテンツ

●Reading:students are expected to show understanding of attitude, detail,
implication, main ideas, opinion, purpose, specific information, text
organization features, tone and text structure.
●Writing:Students learn how to write non-specialised text types such as a news
article, an academic essay, a proposal, a report, a review, a piece
of advertising. Students learn how to focus on advising, comparing,
evaluating, expressing opinion, hypothesising, justifying, and persuading.
●Use of English:Students study a large range of complex idiomatic language, slang,
collocations, formality, social and serious language, grammar nuance,
tense nuance, and complex word order.
●Listening:Students will learn how to understand agreement, speakers' attitude,
feelings, understanding complex situations, and vague opinions.
●Speaking:Students learn how to identify important key language, use idiomatic
phrases, use intonation for emphasis, use typical conversational style,
interaction with another speaker, focus on language related to the topic
and also to conversational language essential for achieving higher
grades in the exam.

●スケジュール：FCE 毎週土曜19:00-21:00、CAE 毎週土曜19:00-21:00
